To be matched with the highest possible award, incoming first-time students must complete the UMKC application by January 15 for Fall term or November 15 for Spring Term and incoming transfer students must complete the UMKC application by May 1 for Fall term or November 15 for Spring term.

Nonresident Scholarships

Students who are not Missouri, Kansas or Midwestern residents may receive scholarships and awards that reduce tuition and fees to resident amounts. Some scholarships are awarded automatically, and some may require a separate application.
