Students who are not Missouri residents may receive awards that reduce tuition and fees to resident amounts. We also offer special rates for Kansas and some states in the Midwest.

Automatic Scholarships

Students will be matched with the highest possible automatic award and based on the information you submit when you complete the apply to UMKC.
Only students admitted beginning in Fall 2023 going forward are considered for these awards.

*Roo Nation Scholarships are limited depending on available funds.

Competitive Scholarships

Competitive scholarships are awarded based on criteria of each scholarship.
Funding may be limited for certain competitive scholarships, and some awards require additional application materials.
Deadlines may vary.
Students may apply by contacting their academic department for approval.
