MDHE awards a variety of grants and scholarships to students of all ages. Eligibility is based on many different factors, including financial need, academic achievement, civic involvement, athletic ability and other skills and interests.
Missouri residents with qualifying ACT scores may be eligible for up to $3,000 Bright Flight award.

Access Missouri is a need-based program for Missouri residents with an Expected Family Contribution from the FAFSA of 12,000 or less. Students should try to complete the FAFSA by the Priority deadline for the State, February 1st.

If you achieve two grades of three or higher on Advanced Placement exams in the fields of math and science while attending a Missouri public high school, receive an award under the Access Missouri Student Financial Assistance Program or the A+ Scholarship Program in the academic year in which the Advanced Placement Incentive Grant is awarded and qualify for the Access Missouri or A+ Scholarship programs but have a calculated award amount of zero are eligible for the Advanced Placement Incentive Grant, you may be eligible.

The Fast Track grant is a financial aid program designed to assist adult learners pursuing a certificate or degree. When combined with other state and federal financial aid, the grant ensures that tuition and fees are fully covered for students.
Eligibility:
If you are a child or spouse of a veteran whose death or injury was a result of combat action, attributed to an illness contracted while serving in combat action or who became 80% disabled as a result of injuries or accidents sustained in combat action since 9/11, you may be eligible. The total number recipients any year is limited by statute to 25.

Qualifying students of families who have invested for college through Missouri's 529 Savings Plan (MOST) and who attend one of the University of Missouri four campuses may be eligible for $500 per academic year.
If you attended one of four University of Missouri campuses — Columbia, Kansas City, Rolla, St. Louis — during the period from Winter 1995 through Fall 2001, were a Missouri resident undergraduate student at the time of attendance and were least 16 years of age but under age 22 on the first day of class in at least one semester during this time, you may be eligible.
