Automatic Scholarship Requirements 

• Full-time enrollment (12+ UMKC credits per semester)
• Complete and earn 24 UMKC credits per year
• Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident
• Working toward first bachelor's degree
• All first-time college students are considered for these awards with the exception of students in the schools of Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry and Law
• Automatic scholarships cannot be combined with other automatic scholarships. You receive only the highest automatic award for which you qualify unless noted otherwise.

Automatic scholarships are awarded based on ACT scores, high school core GPA and other qualifying criteria. High school core GPA is calculated from the 17 core requirements of the university, and is based on a 4.0 scale
