School of Medicine
The School of Medicine at UMKC offers a 6-year Doctor of Medicine degree and various graduate programs such as Anesthesia, Physician Assistant, Bioinformatics, Health Professions Education, and a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Research.
Financial aid is awarded to students who complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and are admitted to a degree-seeking program at UMKC. The amount and types of aid a student can receive are based on EFC, dependency status, residency, level in school, and degree type.
Undergraduate Medicine (BA)
Years 1 and 2 of the BA/MD program are considered undergraduate level, thus require students to include parent information on the FAFSA. Students complete their first two years of coursework on the Volker campus and are required to live in university housing.
